Embroidery by the Meter

The design for this fabric was inspired by a painting of Elisabeth I. The motif was created like a repeat and the fabric embroidered in sections almost like the process used for screen printing.

Embroidery by the meter offers interesting possibilities. The fabric may be produced in different widths and colour combinations to suit any requirements. New designs inspired by 18th century weaving patterns are underway and will be posted on this site in the future.
