Finding Neverland

Costume design: Alex Byrne.

Working on “Finding Neverland” was an absolutely extraordinary experience. Costume Designer Alex Byrne had some very inspiring and challenging ideas for the big gown for Sylvia Llewelyn Davies” played by Kate Winslet. The main objective was to try and create slightly transparent, organic floating motives with lovely texture and depth.

The gown ended up being a very elaborate piece of work after passing through many hands in the workroom, especially through the gifted hands of Dressmaker Susan Hardy, who put all the pieces together and made the costume.
