Career History

April 2004 - present:

Self- employed embroidery maker and owner of Sjølander Embroidery. 

July 2021 - present:

Daily and artistic manager of Denmark's Costumarium. The Costumarium exhibits costumes and costume designs from national and international film, theatre and television productions. It is the first museum in Denmark dedicated to the art of costume.

June 2001 - April 2004:

Costume maker at Cosprop Ltd, London. Specializing in costume embroidery under the guidance of Head of Men's Dept. Christopher Prins and Owner and Costume Designer John Bright.

Sept. 2000 - June 2001:

Costume Interpretation BA, Wimbledon College of Art

March 1993 - June 1998:

Apprenticeship and employment with Couturier and Costume Designer Lars Andersen, Copenhagen.
